What makes our team and player shots different from the rest?  Lots of things, but consider these:

First, we approach sports photography as a portrait - not "just a sports picture".  We know what makes a portrait timeless, and we apply this to every player and every team we shoot.  Second, we work great with kids of all ages, even as young as 3.  Hey, if the players are having fun, the image reflects it!  Third, unlike other studios, we NEVER consider the images of your children "good enough" simply because they're "only" sports photos.  Hey, these are your kids here!   And last but not least, we are your Sports Multi-Image Studio.  We always give you multi-poses to choose from, even the team shot!

~What to expect on photo day!~

Thanks for choosing on the Edge Photography for your sports photos. 

 We strive to make photo day not only fun for the kids, but easy and painless for the parents as well.

  With over six years experience and hundreds of teams shot, we have developed the following as a guide to make photo day run smoother. 

Feel free to contact us with any questions.

  1. We should arrive at “photo central” approximately 30 – 45 minutes prior to game time, or at the beginning of practice, depending on when your photos are scheduled. 

  2. Our timeline will involve photographing the players individually as they arrive, and once we have the last player there, we will photograph the entire team.

  3. We normally will photograph each player and the team in at least two different poses, time permitting.  Let us know ahead of time if this will not work for your team, or if you have particular requests.

  4. Images will be posted on-line, password protected, for parents to view and order.  We highly recommend our e-card to be purchased ahead of time which allows your $$ to go farther.  Contact us for more info on this.

  5. We do request the aid of a coach or team mom to help “corral” the kids in and out of the photo area.  We, of course, will handle the posing but sometimes an adult that knows the kids can command their attention better.

  6. We do request that our camera is the only one on the field during photo time.  We do this for several reasons, but mainly to minimize the distraction to the players while we create images for you.

  7. We always welcome “special” opportunities, e.g. player with mom and/or dad, grandma and/or grandpa, or siblings.  These are posted online with the rest of the proofs.
